This five (5) day course is designed for first responders, detectives and crime scene investigators. Students
will receive comprehensive instruction and hands-on training on all areas of crime scene investigation. Topics
covered include safeguarding and processing of the crime scene, sketching and photograph of the crime scene,
collection of evidence and "lifting" of fingerprints, and cause and origin of fires. Students will participate in
mock crime scene investigations.
NOTE: Attendees must have a good working knowledge of fingerprint collection and identification.
BDUs or Class B uniforms are appropriate.
