*A five-day course of instruction which focuses on the documentation and processing of a crime scene.

Topics covered includes crime scene photography, proper evidence collection, latent print recovery, bloodstain recognition/documentation and shooting scene documentation. Participants will have a basic knowledge and understanding on how to photograph, document and process various types of crime scenes including but not limited to burglaries, death investigations, motor vehicle accidents, shooting investigations, and vehicle processing. The course will include both lecture and hands on exercises. Students are expected to bring their own photography equipment including: camera, flash, Macro lens and tripod.
